I feel quite motivated and energised today, although when I take a stroll out at lunch time the smell of cooked food seems to be all around. ‘focus, focus, focus’.

 
Back to the office today!  Which strangely in my mind makes it easier.  No cooking for the children or getting them food.  I had already prepared a meal plan for Mark so he was sorted.  So for the remainder of the Clean 9 I will only have the evening meal to cook.
 
I was a little late starting this morning and when the alarm went off at 6am, I switched it off!! Only 6 hours sleep last night.  Todays MIT would have to wait until post spinning.
 
I don’t feel quite so bad today, other than a little tired.  The headache has eased and the fuzziness is beginning to clear also – maybe I am coming through the other side of it!  If the clean 9 is responsible for my bad hair day also, that would make me feel better; I suspect it just needs a wash!
 
I have my garcinia, gel and shake before I leave for the station and prep the days ‘supplies’ to take with me.  I am looking forward to my 1 double espresso if the day – the small things, eh ;)

I had arrived late in the office this morning, so a normal or early departure was out of the question.  It was going to be a tight squeeze to get home, change and get back out for spinning!  I did it! Made it to spinning with a few minutes to spare!  Towards the end of the class I had the whole vision closing in this going on, but I took a deep breath and powered through.
 
I had decided the night before that I was going to get in 5-6 sessions a week of MIT (max interval training) so without too much a thought, I cracked straight on with that after I got home from spinning.
 
9.20pm I was finally done! Time to cook, these 600cals couldn’t come quick enough!  I started to struggle to eat it halfway through and I powered through for a few minutes as I started to tell myself I needed the calories, I’d done all that exercise right?  I ended up leaving some as I couldn’t manage it – so not quite 600 cals for me tonight!
 

Tonights 600 cal meal:

5oz chicken breast

1 cup broccoli

½ cup mushrooms

¼ peas

¼ green beans

¼ courgettes

¼ cup onion

3 garlic gloves

1tbspn grated fresh ginger

1 tbspn reduced sodium soy sauce

2 teaspoons sesame oil

2/3 cup cooked brown rice

 

Lessons of the day!

1- surround yourself with people and situations that are going to support you in your journey.

 

2 – if you are full, you are full!  Listen to your body.  Don’t force the food or calories in, even if you ‘think’ you need them.
